Kayaks on the River Fowey
Kayaks on the River Fowey
This is part of my project to photograph the full length of the River Fowey. I took this shot with a 300 mm lens from the southern tip of Shirehall Moor, down river from Lostwithiel. At this point the river suddenly becomes much wider when the tide is in, in fact less of a river and more of an arm of the sea.

This group of kayaks had come down the river and I wanted to 'catch' them from a distance, on the sparkling water and against the dark woods of the opposite bank.
