This is one of several shots I took from Penleath Point, below the Hall Walk on the Fowey estuary. It was a calm September morning and I wanted to capture the sense of peace that there is at this time of day.

The red passenger ferry had just started service for the day, passing back and forth across the river every few minutes, so I had several chances to catch it at the right point in the frame. Fortunately the cormorant stayed on the yellow mooring buoy the whole time I was there.
