Waterfall at St Cadix
Waterfall at St Cadix
I was exploring near the old St Cadix priory on Penpoll Creek, an arm of the Fowey estuary, when I saw this small waterfall on a stream flowing down beside the footpath.

I took a series of shots to experiment with different shutter speeds, and this is the one I like best. In this setting the blurring seems appropriate, set against the detail of the surrounding foliage. Fortunately there was practically no air movement to spoil a long exposure.
