Peace in the upper reaches of the River Fowey
Peace in the upper reaches of the River Fowey
I took this picture last weekend as part of my project to photograph the River Fowey.

This is a mile south of the source of the river, which is 300 meters above sea level between Brown Willy and Leskernick. It is a pretty area at this time of year, with the gorse and bluebells in flower.

I took this shot about 7.30 in the morning, so the sun was still low enough to create a nice quality of light.
