I live in the village of Polperro, between Looe and Fowey, and I took most of this site's photographs in that area, starting in 2006.
I use a Canon D5 camera and a variety of lenses. All my photographs are stored in RAW format; I use Adobe Lightroom for almost all my post-processing work. I produce my prints from an HP B9180 printer; its output quality is excellent, and its pigment inks are highly resistant to fading.
In March 2011 my book 'Exploring the Fowey Valley' was published by Alison Hodge in her 'Pocket Cornwall' series (see her website on the Links page). It includes the history and modern descriptions of the area as well as my photographs. The book is available in local shops and on Amazon.
A second book in a similar format, 'Exploring South East Cornwall', will be published in May 2012. It covers the area from the Caradon mining district and Liskeard to the coast at Rame Head and as far west as Lantic Bay. My 'blog' shows the cover pages of both these books.
